This would make much more sense when housing two dogs using the divider. My main suggestion would be that rather than those two sliding doors interlocking with each other, that they would latch top and bottom so that you could have one closed and latched and the other open. I love the sliding doors because I can leave doors open without being a knee banger, and the dogs may go in and out of the crate at will. However, I do have some suggestions which would make it more practical. I attach feeding bowls inside each crate to avoid squabbles at meal time, and it works perfectly. Once I got it divided into two compartments, it was like having two separate 24" crates, which I loved. It appears to be well constructed and I liked that it had reinforcement at the corners.
